Role Responsibilities
*Preparing and managing annual tax returns for a portfolio of clients
*Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients to resolve queries and ensure compliance
*Advising clients on a range of personal tax matters, including tax forecasting, residence and domicile considerations, capital gains tax, planning, and enquiry work
*Maintaining regular contact with clients, building strong and trusted relationships
*Raising bills and managing your portfolio to ensure work is completed efficiently
*Supporting Managers and Partners on their portfolios and ad hoc projects
*Supervising and training junior staff members, helping them to develop their skills
*Collaborating across departments to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients

Candidate Requirements
*ATT/CTA qualification or be qualified by experience
*Previous experience in a private client/personal tax role, ideally within an accountancy practice
*Strong organisational skills and experience managing a busy client portfolio
*A good working knowledge of tax preparation software and HMRC online services
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose solutions
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*A proactive approach with a strong sense of client service
*The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
