Finance Business Analyst
Compensation: £150.00 per day
Overview:
I am on the lookout for a talented Finance Business Analyst to join my Coventry based client. This role involves working closely with the Finance Business Partner to support operational functions and meet financial consolidation needs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing the management team with essential financial data and analytics to drive informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance financial reports, utilising key metrics and data to highlight contract performance, focus areas, and opportunities for financial improvement.
Collaborate with finance colleagues and operational teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
Utilise various data systems (including Coupa, CAFMs, WP+, SAP, FDW, Power BI) to extract data, generate reports, and deliver key management information.
Consolidate financial data, including month-end results, budgets, and forecasts.
Prepare and present data-driven insights for internal presentations.
Support efficiency initiatives by providing relevant financial data.
Work with teams to improve the reporting of data and metrics.
Partner with Finance Business Partners, Contract Managers, operational teams, and contract administration to deliver accurate and insightful management information.
Enhance the understanding of financial data through detailed reporting and analysis to influence decision-making and boost business performance.
Report financial and contract data to senior stakeholders, including the Managing Director, Sector Directors, Head of Finance, Finance Business Partners, and Contract Managers
Candidate Profile:
Currently pursuing a full accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience in complex financial environments.
This role will require a DBS check.
