A leading bank in the heart of the City of London, is looking to hire a Financial Markets Sales person to develop and maintain Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions’ client relationships and undertake client trades. This bank has a strong London and global presence, whereby you will collaborate with other offices.

Your new role
My client is looking for a suitable candidate who has experience within the UK market working in FX sales or related functions, with a strong understanding of FX products, dealing and FX workflows from execution to settlement. Specific day-to-day responsibilities include:
*Promote Bank’s Products: Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to enhance performance across corporate, FI, and NBFI clients, as well as market counterparties.
*Client Relationship Management: Strengthen existing relationships and create new ones by formulating and implementing effective marketing strategies. Collaborate with the Client-Onboarding team to ensure smooth onboarding processes.
*Compliance and Reviews: Conduct periodic reviews to meet KYC and AML requirements, ensuring all activities adhere to regulatory standards.
*Client Engagement: Organise and lead client meetings, analyse business needs, identify sales opportunities, and ensure successful follow-through.
*Market and Product Development: Engage in market research, credit analysis, product development, and new business initiatives to enhance our capabilities in client trading, market making, bond trading, green bond issuance, and liquidity management.
*Adherence to Policies: Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with our policies and procedures, including Risk and Compliance guidelines.

What you’ll need to succeed
*Ideally, 2+ years of experience in FX sales, Treasury, or related roles.
*Strong understanding of FX products, dealing, and FX workflows from execution to settlement.
*Knowledge of money market products, bonds, IRS, and CCS is advantageous.
*A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in economics, finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
