Job Description:
Service & Repair Technician - Exeter - Permanent £30,000 per annum
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Service and Repair Technician for their client based at their Exeter depot.
Hours of work:
37.5 hours a week
Monday - Friday 8.30am- 5.00pm
Job Role:
To service and repair the full range of Professional and Home & Garden cleaning equipment in a workshop environment, as well as perform onsite customer repairs when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
*Service and repair the full range of Professional cleaning equipment in both workshop and field environments.
*Record all work performed, complete relevant service reports, and liaise with customers and internal office staff.
*Promote and sell maintenance contracts and other accessories.
*Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in a satisfactory and safe condition at all times.
*Control inventory of van spares.
*Uphold and promote the brand at all times.
*Carry out additional duties as requested by management to meet business requirements.
*Attend training, meetings, and company events.
Qualifications and Experience:
*3 GCSEs at Grade C or equivalent, including English and Maths.
*Preferably qualified in mechanical/electrical engineering.
*Preferable knowledge of the service and cleaning industries.
*Experience in a workshop engineering role and/or working with cleaning equipment.
*IT literate.
*Ability to find, diagnose, and resolve technical problems.
*Good communication skills, both internally and externally with customers.
*Ability to work on your own initiative.
*Full UK driving license.
*Willingness to travel.
