Job Description:
We are looking for a warm, approachable and motivated person to work alongside our Service Manager and Community Links and Assessment Co-ordinator to provide an outcome-focused support service for people over the age of 18 who are identified as needing housing relating support to enable them to benefit from:
*Improved mental health
*Tenancy sustainment
*Maximisation of independent living skills
*Improved engagement with the landlord/accommodation providers
*Better money management/debt and arrears reduction
*Improved safety within the home e.g. reduction in hoarding and safer living conditions
*Reduced homelessness and threat of homelessness
*Better management of substance misuse issues
*Access Volunteering opportunities with Tier 0 and outside of the service
You will provide advice and guidance as to the range of possible housing and support options including support to access and engage with these services. You will sign post to other services that may also be able to aid in meeting their support needs.
