Job Description:
Meraki Talent’s market leading client based in the outskirts of Glasgow are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to the current team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation.
Key duties of the role include:
*Work closely with the monthly management accounts team reporting to the Financial Controller.
*Reconciling the bank, balance sheet and inter-company charges.
*Processing of month end journals such as payroll, accruals and prepayments.
*Reconciling and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
*Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts reporting.
*Help with the continuous improvement of business processes via annual business initiatives.
*Confident in liaising with Internal and External Auditors at year end.
*Ad hoc duties to assist Finance Department as when needed.
Experience required:
*Experience of working in a similar fast-moving environment.
*Positive under pressure and can meet deadlines.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
