About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging and creative lessons that encourage students to explore and develop their artistic talents. You will have the opportunity to inspire students, fostering a passion for visual arts while preparing them for GCSE success.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, teach, and assess Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
*Deliver a diverse and inclusive curriculum, catering to the needs of all students
*Encourage students’ creativity and critical thinking through practical and theoretical work
*Promote a positive and safe learning environment
*Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the department
*Monitor and track student progress and provide constructive feedback
Key Requirements:
*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
*A genuine passion for teaching Art
*Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 (desirable)
*Strong classroom management skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
*Creativity, energy, and the ability to inspire students
