Job Description:
Colmore Education is excited to support a vibrant and dynamic mainstream secondary school in North Birmingham in their search for a passionate and dedicated ICT Teacher (QTS). This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join a supportive and forward-thinking team, delivering high-quality teaching to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Position:
*Full-time ICT Teacher (QTS)
*Mainstream Secondary School
*Location: North Birmingham
*Start Date: January 2025
About the Role:
As a qualified ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. You will be expected to inspire students, foster a love for technology, and ensure that they are well-prepared for their GCSEs. The role includes planning, assessment, and collaboration with other departments to enhance the learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
*Teach ICT across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
*Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum
*Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
*Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment
*Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school’s ethos
*Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents
Key Requirements:
*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
*A passion for teaching ICT and technology
*Experience teaching ICT at KS3 and KS4 is desirable
*Strong classroom management skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Commitment to the success and wellbeing of students
