Colmore Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Food Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Solihull. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Food Technology to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop practical skills and a deep understanding of nutrition and healthy eating.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
*Create a safe and supportive classroom environment where students can explore and develop their culinary skills.
*Monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance to support their learning journey.
*Contribute to the broader school community through participation in extracurricular activities related to Food Technology and healthy living.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Food Technology or a related subject.
*Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level, particularly KS3 and KS4.
*Strong knowledge of food safety, nutrition, and practical cooking techniques.
*Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
