About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in patients’ lives by providing essential physiotherapy services directly in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
*Conduct initial assessments for patients recently discharged from hospital or other services.
*Deliver follow-up appointments, supporting patients in their recovery and rehabilitation.
*Work with housebound patients, tailoring treatment plans to their specific needs.
*Promote independence and improve patient quality of life through effective physiotherapy interventions.
*Liaise with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and experienced Physiotherapist who is confident working independently in a community-based setting. Key requirements include:
*HCPC Registration (Health and Care Professions Council)
*Previous experience as a Band 6 Physiotherapist (or equivalent)
*Strong assessment, care planning, and rehabilitation skills.
*Ability to manage a caseload effectively.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
