Salary: £48,000 - £50,000
Location: Manchester
Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)
Are you a talented Maintenance Engineer with a passion for keeping production lines running smoothly? We’re seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
About the Role:
*Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
*Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
*Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure operational efficiency.
*Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
*Identify areas for improvement and contribute to plant optimisation.
Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer role:
*Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
*Strong electrical expertise, with knowledge of mechanical systems as an advantage.
*Qualifications in Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 minimum).
*PLC fault-finding and repair experience is desirable.
*A proactive, problem-solving approach and ability to work under pressure.
