We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based in Bedfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting business decision-making, improving financial performance, and providing insightful reporting in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis of variances and key business trends
*Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
*Provide accurate and timely financial reports for senior management
*Support financial planning, analysis, and business performance review meetings
*Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
*Business partnering with various departments to drive cost efficiency and financial performance
*Manage and support the preparation of year-end accounts and audits
*Provide support with ad-hoc financial analysis and project work as required
What we’re looking for:
*ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
*Proven experience in a management accounting role
*Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
*Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with non-financial stakeholders
*Ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights
*Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
