Role Purpose
I am currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tool Maker for a well established and reputable client of ours. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a passion for precision engineering, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and maintaining tools, dies, and fixtures critical to our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will play a vital role in optimizing production efficiency and ensuring the quality of our products.
Key Accountabilities
*Working on Lathes, Mills and Grinders
*Design and fabricate tools
*Repairs and maintenance on tools
*Perform plastic injection moulding tasks
*Adhere to all safety procedures while undergoing any tasks
Key Competencies Required
*Very strong on the Mechanical knowledge side of things
*Past expereince as a tool maker
*Past experience with plastics injection moulding (advantageous)
*Automotive backgorund is beneficial
