ASSOCIATE PROJECT DIRECTOR (MARKET RESEARCH)
UP TO £60,000
LONDON (HYBRID)
Harnham are working with a leading healthcare focused research agency on an exciting Associate Project Director role. They’re looking for someone with prior experience in managing quant projects looking for a step up.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Associate Director, you’ll be leading a client services team, acting as the go-to person for guidance and making sure projects run smoothly. You’ll juggle managing people, keeping clients happy, and improving how things are done behind the scenes. If you’ve got a knack for market research-especially in healthcare-and know how to handle complex projects, this role might be a great fit. Specifically, you will be:
*Leading your team: mentoring, coaching, and helping them hit their goals while making sure workloads are balanced.
*Guiding operations: providing support and advice to the team when challenges pop up.
*Handling project issues: managing escalations and working with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.
*Improving processes: working with leadership to tweak and enhance workflows and systems to make everyone’s life easier.
*Tracking progress: keeping an eye on how projects are going, including quality checks and meeting data collection targets.
*Managing finances: overseeing billing and making sure projects finish with healthy profit margins.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal Associate Project Director will have:
*A degree (or equivalent experience), plus at least 5 years in market research and 3 years in project management.
*Bonus points if you’ve got experience in healthcare-focused research or handling big, complex projects.
*Strong organizational skills, great communication, and the ability to problem-solve under pressure.
*Solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
*A collaborative mindset with the ability to work solo or as part of a team.
