People Consultant (HR)
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £48 - £56,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent or Fixed Term (12 months), Full Time (Part Time Considered)
Working Style: 1-2 days in the office
Are you an experienced senior Human Resources professional who enjoys taking part in designing and implementing people strategies and initiatives and looking for a new challenge in 2025?
I am currently seeking an experienced People/Human Resources Consultant to join a public sector organisation based in Essex.
This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on workforce strategy and organisational development and drive strategic initiatives across various functional areas.
Key Responsibilities:
*Collaborate with People Services and the People Business Partnering team to design and implement people strategies and initiatives.
*Coach managers in managing change, complex employment cases, and performance issues.
*Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to enhance organisational effectiveness.
*Lead projects to achieve defined outcomes and support continuous improvement.
You will be a great fit if you have the following experience:
*Chartered CIPD membership or working towards it.
*Previous experience as a People/Human Resources Consultant with strong HR generalist expertise, particularly in the public sector.
*Proven experience in managing complex people, process and systems issues and driving change.
*Understanding of change management techniques and experience of engaging leaders and managers in taking ownership of change.
*Demonstrated experience as a people lead in project and programme management, ensuring successful delivery of outcomes.
*Experience in analysing people and business metrics, developing actionable insights, and writing effective reports and policies to inform decision-making.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to build influential relationships.
