Job Description:
My Client, a European bank in the City, seeks an Associate/AVP level Infrastructure Finance banker (with tangible Transport Infrastructure Finance experience), to join their broader Project & Infrastructure Finance team in London.
Key Accountabilities
Deliver on a strategic plan for the growth of the Infrastructure Sector for Corporate Banking UK.
The end-to-end execution of transaction proposals including: transaction origination, investment analysis, internal investment approval process and investment execution.
Perform commercial and credit analysis on potential opportunities, to include both qualitative and quantitative due diligence and appropriate financial analysis and stress testing.
Preparation of comprehensive credit applications for presentation to Credit Committee.
Implement a customer relationship strategy for new and existing Corporate clients.
Develop and maintain a culture of high performance, strong customer focus and compliance
Provide leadership in respect of the retention and motivation of the people within Corporate Banking UK and that of the Infrastructure Team.
What you will Bring to the Role
Credit assessment and credit management skills. Strong analytical skills together with an ability to think and act laterally and creatively.
Track record of sourcing, originating and delivery of new to Bank transactions.
Strong relationship building and management skills with proven ability to manage new and existing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience of managing motivating and developing team members to help create a strong and productive team environment.
The ability to demonstrate drive, flexibility, and a willingness to continuously improve performance and deliver stretching goals.
