Job Description:
Our client, a market leading investment platform, has an opening for an integral member of the team. They are looking for a Qualified Management Accountant
Key responsibilities as Management Accountant include:
*Financial Reporting and Analysis: *Prepararation of monthly management accounts, including Accruals, Prepayments and Fixed Assets Register.
*Analysis of financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for cost improvement.
*Expertise in financial commentary and variance analysis to highlight key financial performance indicators.
*Reconcile Balance sheet accounts and ensure there no discrepancies in the reports.
*Key involvement in the preparation of annual year-end audits.
*Cost Control & Efficiency: *Analyse costs and recommend areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvements.
*Work with department heads to monitor departmental budgets and control costs.
*Ensure internal controls and accounting procedures are adhered to for accurate financial reporting.
*Management Support: *Provide financial insights to senior management for strategic decision-making and business planning.
*Work closely with other departments to interpret financial data, enabling better decision-making.
*Systems & Process Improvement: *Assist in the development of financial systems and processes.
*Identify and implement improvements to existing processes for more efficient financial management.
The ideal candidate will be:
*ACA qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA with financial services industry experience
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts, with the ability to interpret and analyse financial data.
*Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
