Job Description:
Are you an experienced Sales Manager in the Scarborough area looking for a new job opportunity where you can really make a difference? Do you have experience of setting and working to targets and KPI’s, driving business forward and seeing good results?
Would you like to join a new start up business where you can be instrumental in the direction of the business, its sales strategy and business growth? Do you want to earn uncapped commission yourself as well as managing and leading another member of staff?
We are working exclusively with a well established company who is setting up a new arm of their business selling trailers across the East Coast, Ryedale and East Yorkshire over to Hull and we are looking for a Sales Manager to be instrumental in this new venture.
What the Sales Manager job involves
*Setting and working to targets and KPI’s, monitoring the teams performance and reporting to the Managing Director.
*Creating a sales and marketing strategy for the business and implementing.
*Managing the marketing of the business on social medial and attending events in the local area.
*Recruitment, coaching, training and development of a small team.
*Conducting one to one’s and appraisals, conducting any grievances and disciplinaries if required.
*Speaking to customers on a daily basis face to face, over the phone and via email, delivering a high level of customer service.
*Giving advice and guidance to customers and identifying the correct trailer for their needs and providing an accurate quote.
*Negotiation of sales to customers, upselling service plans and parts to meet KPI targets.
*Ordering the trailers and parts for customers and liaising with them to arrange collection or delivery.
Skills required
*Previous sales experience from a customer facing role.
*Experience of setting sales strategies and working to targets and KPI’s.
*People management and training experience.
*Excellent customer service skills and experience.
*Strong attention to detail.
*Full driving licence and be willing to tow trailers if needed.
Other information
*Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.00 and one in three Saturday mornings 8.30 - 13.00
*Commission payable with an OTE of up to £60,000
