About the Role:
Hays Recruitment is seeking a outstanding and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join a wonderful secondary school in Birmingham, with a good reputation. The school is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Perry Barr area of Birmingham, England. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have relevant UK-based teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
*You will plan and deliver high-quality computer science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
*You will contribute to the development and implementation of the computer science curriculum.
*You will assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
*You will maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
*You will work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and best practices.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Relevant UK-based teaching experience
*Excellent knowledge of the computer science curriculum
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
