Pure are supporting this pharmaceutical organisation to recruit an Accountant on an interim basis to start in January, this will be an ongoing need to cover a period of sick leave which is likely to be for a minimum of 3 months. Full time or 4 days a week will be considered. 

This role will offer hybrid working with 1 day a week in the office which is based in South Cambridge and the remaining time worked from home. 

Reporting into the Head of Finance this role is responsible for managing the companies purchase ledger function, the main duties are as follows - 

- Processing and payment of purchase orders and vendor invoices and liaising with suppliers
- Handling initial supplier set ups
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Manage overhead accruals
- Supporting the compliance review and audit requirements
- Reconciliation of credit card transactions
- Assistance with the quarter end process including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Supporting the finance team in the quarter close
