Our great established client is seeking an Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client in the real estate and property industry. This role is based in Chelmsford and offers a competitive salary of £24,000 - £26,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities, Objectives, and Accountabilities for the Accounts Assistant: *Contribute to the daily posting of transactions in the Group’s accounting systems.
*Maintain accurate reporting systems and controls to support decision-making at all levels.
*Collaborate with other Group staff to ensure efficient and effective teamwork.
*Participate in special projects as required.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: *Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports.
*Reconcile supplier statements and process their invoices.
*Handle BACS and CHAPS payments.
*Enter daily financial transactions.
*Manage accounts receivable, including chasing unpaid fees and updating debtor balances.
*Organize and file financial paperwork.
*Perform bank reconciliations.
*Capture and log daily invoices for authorisation.
*Post customer remittances.
*Assist with month-end processes and reconciliations.
*Report financial data to management.
