Interventions Teaching Assistant | Greenwich, South East London | £100-£110 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term to Permanent | January Start
Remedy Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Greenwich, to recruit an experienced and passionate Interventions Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in Year 1 and Year 2, focusing on phonics, reading interventions, and tailored SEND support, including speech and language interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver targeted phonics and reading interventions to small groups and individual pupils.
*Provide SEND support, including speech and language interventions, to help children access learning effectively.
*Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to plan and implement interventions.
*Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
*Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages learning and development.
Requirements:
*Previous experience supporting phonics, reading, or SEND interventions.
*Understanding of strategies to support speech and language development.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*A proactive and patient approach to working with children.
*Relevant qualifications in education or SEND (desirable).
