Business Development / Sales Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives and contribute to the success of a leading organisation in the manufacturing and distribution sector. You will play a pivotal role in driving sales, managing key accounts, and implementing effective marketing strategies to achieve ambitious targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management:
*Take ownership of assigned accounts to ensure sustained sales growth.
*Build and maintain robust relationships with key clients, both domestically and internationally.
*Develop and execute account management plans to drive client satisfaction and retention.
*Partner with the marketing team to amplify brand presence and generate qualified leads.
Business Development:
*Identify and secure new business opportunities, expanding the company’s client base.
*Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue objectives.
*Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from lead qualification to deal closure.
*Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Marketing Strategy:
*Collaborate on the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy.
*Analyse market trends, competitor insights, and customer data to inform decision-making.
*Create and leverage marketing campaigns and materials to support sales efforts.
Required Skills and Experience *A proven track record in sales and business development with a focus on achieving targets.
*Strong understanding of sales techniques and account management principles.
*Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
*Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
*Highly organised, with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
*Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is strongly preferred.
