Job Description:
Central Employment are working in partnerships with a rapidly expanding FMCG, eCommerce Retail and Distribution organisation, as they look to invest further in there in-house eCommerce team.  They have a new and pivotal opportunity, for a Marketplace eCommerce Specialist, to work alongside there dedicated Senior eCommerce Manager.  


Marketplace eCommerce Specialist job profile: 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce with a proven track record of driving growth and optimising performance across marketplace channels and subscription services. This role requires a data-driven mindset, with a focus on maximising revenue and customer retention through strategic management of there expanding online marketplace and subscription offerings. 

Main responsibilities of the Marketplace eCommerce Specialist: 
*Oversee the day-to-day operations of our online marketplace channels ensuring product listings are optimised for maximum visibility and conversion
*Working with any external agencies and suppliers to deliver against agreed KPI’s
*Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer experience, and increase market share across all marketplace platforms
*Monitor marketplace performance metrics, analyse trends, and adjust strategies to meet sales targets and KPIs
*Manage relationships with marketplace partners and stay informed on platform updates and best practices
*Work with internal teams to ensure marketplaces have up to date content and imagery
*Work with senior team to deliver subscription strategy
*Work with there wider digital marketing team to attract new subscribers, leveraging data to identify the most effective channels and tactics
*Implement retention strategies such as personalised communications, loyalty rewards, and exclusive content to reduce churn and enhance customer lifetime value
*Work closely with the brand and product teams to continuously innovate and improve our subscriptions, including new features and added value for subscribers
*Set and monitor KPIs related to subscription growth, churn rate, customer lifetime value, and other relevant metrics. Regularly analyse performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
*Work closely with our subscriptions platform to ensure we utilise all aspects and tools
*Work with email team to streamline the subscription management process, ensuring efficient onboarding, billing, and renewal processes.
*Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging consumer preferences in the subscription space
Essential experience: 
*Circa 3+ years experience in e-commerce with experience of managing online marketplaces
*Subscription experience would be a bonus
*Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies
*Self-starter with excellent project management skills, capable of working independently and as part of a tea
*Proficiency in platforms such as (e.g., Recharge, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Google Analytics, Excel)
*Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
*Strong understanding of online consumer behaviour and trends
