Job Description:
We are working with a leading aerospace and defence manufacturer based in Andover, north Hampshire.
They are currently seeking a Quality Inspector who will join their Engineering team to perform final inspection on a range of manufacturer products.
Type: Monday – Friday day shift pattern with an early finish on Friday
Salary: £28 – 35,000 dependant on experience.
Location: Andover
Note: Due to the nature of the business, company can only consider candidates that hold a UK passport with 5 years working history in the UK.
They can consider quality and inspection experience from a range of manufacturing background for the role.
Key Responsibilities
*Perform visual Inspection of final packaged products ensuring packaging meets contract requirements.
*Ensure labels and serialisation / unique identification meet contract requirements.
*Perform final review and acceptance of all test documentation prior to completion of work.
*Supporting the stores function by performing visual, dimensional and gauging inspection checks of received components to determine acceptance.
*Engage with production operatives to perform & sign off inspection stages as indicated in Process Specification.
