Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Accountant to join a dynamic and growth-driven team within a globally recognised mining company. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, formulate strategies, and strive for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key remits to the role include;
*Preparation of the Annual Report and consolidated financial statements
*Assisting the Annual Audit of the Group and all related activities
*Supporting the annual budget process and working with in-country stakeholders to maintain cost control
*Preparing and maintaining key financial models
*Drafting and maintaining accounting and tax memos
*Monitoring cashflow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and investments
*Maintaining accounts of parent and holding subsidiary accounts
*Preparation of monthly executive summaries for the Group to the Board of Directors
The ideal candidate will be;
*ACA/CA trained with experience in IFRS, GAAP
*Previous Consolidation experience
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
