Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Lending Operations Team Leader to join our clients innovative and growing team. In this role, you will lead and support their Lending Support Officers to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality processing of lending applications. You’ll collaborate with brokers, solicitors, valuation teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations from application to completion.
As part of a new bank, you’ll play a key role in shaping and improving our lending processes while driving continuous improvement in customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and develop the Lending Operations team
*Oversee the end-to-end lending process
*Ensure compliance and service quality
*Drive efficiency and service improvements
*Manage team performance and personal development
Requirements:
*2+ years in lending operations with leadership experience
*Strong knowledge of retail lending processes
*Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
*A passion for continuous improvement and delivering great customer outcomes
Hours:
Contracted hours are 9-5.30 Monday to Friday, with flexibility as business needs require
Hybrid - 3 days in office 2 WFH, currently Office days Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
