Job Description:
Gleeson has been partnered with a Global business looking for an Inventory Stock Controller. This opportunity is suited towards a professional looking to grow within a forward-thinking business looking to further develop its internal processes.
This Opportunity will be a FTC for 12 Month’s with full training provided, the will allow the individual to gain invaluable skills along the process.
Job Title: Inventory Stock Controller
Work Type : National
Location : Midlands
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct regular site visits to distributors based on priority and size.
*Accurately inventory goods, resolve discrepancies, and issue invoices as needed in coordination with sales and administration teams.
*Collaborate with distributors to optimise inventory levels.
*Develop and execute a regular audit program to reconcile and recover misplaced or excess industrial goods.
*Prepare monthly action plans and reports to monitor progress and share findings with the Network Manager.
*Work with branches, distributors, and external providers to retrieve unallocated industrial goods.
*Choose cost-effective recovery options based on location and volume, maintaining a log of all recovered assets with quarterly reporting.
*Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to enhance processes related to on-site asset management.
*Analyse performance, identify non-conformities, and implement effective improvement plans.

*Attention to detail and a structured approach to planning and diary management.
*Strong prioritisation skills and a proactive mindset.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport.
