Job Description:
Some companies take retaining their staff seriously. They’re more walk than talk.
Take this firm. They’re an acquisitive, growing financial planning business. And as they grow so do the opportunities they can offer their employees. People like you.
We’ve worked with them on a range of positions. And a common theme has been that vacancies have arisen because of internal promotion, or they’ve invested in a trainee. Or if there is no short-term prospect of a step up, there is in the medium and long term. All great signs that they know that people need to learn and develop.
They offer hybrid working - a good sign that they trust their staff and want to empower, not micro-manage them.
And they offer good packages with great benefits. The value of these really add up and point to the type of firm they are (paid volunteering days and enhanced maternity/paternity pay as an example):
*25 days annual leave
*An extra day off for your birthday
*Life assurance
*Private healthcare for you and your family
*Free annual eye tests
*2 paid volunteering days per year
*Enhanced Maternity and Paternity pay
As for the job itself you’ll join as a client liaison administrator. As the title suggests you’ll be front and centre when it comes to the firm’s clients. You’ll often be the first port of call for their queries meaning that no two days will be the same.
Away from clients you’ll provide diary support to your financial planning and paraplanning teams. That means preparing cases for your paraplanners and preparing planners for meetings. You’ll also process business from submission to completion.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
You’ll enjoy speaking with clients - this is a cornerstone of the job after all.
You’ll also have some experience within a financial planning firm but it doesn’t need to be years and years.
