Senior Maintenance Engineer

- Lead and coordinate the Shift Engineering Team, ensuring the delivery of shift activity as planned and reacting proactively to on-shift situations.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality, ensuring product quality through appropriate maintenance activities.
- Develop and support planned maintenance activities that drive continuous improvement in asset reliability.
- Contribute to the site capital investment programme, identifying areas for improvement including energy usage, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements.
- Manage contractor control and permit systems, ensuring adherence to stock control policies.
- Play a pivotal role in people development, identifying skills gaps, and contributing to the development of training plans.
**What You Will Bring:**
- An Indentured Apprenticeship and an ONC/HNC within an Engineering Discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience within the FMCG environment, with bottling experience being a significant advantage.
- A profound understanding of techniques that drive the reliability of assets and a commitment to continuous personal and process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a problem-solving ability and a right first-time attitude.
- A good base knowledge of process control systems and basic computer skills, coupled with a willingness to embrace new technology.
