Job Description:
Partner Financial are working for a leading services organisation to search for a highly visible Financial Controller. The business is a customer-led organisation, which enables the Group to be at the forefront of innovation and sustainability, driving the future of their industry.
The business focusses on delivering innovative, centralised solutions for businesses across finance, procurement, technology, and resources. They are at the forefront of harnessing AI and intelligent automation to find new ways to improve their customer experience, operational efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity of operations across the UK, leading an established finance team, managing audits, and delivering financial and management reporting to the Group. The position will interface with senior stakeholders around the group to maintain consistency and compliance in regard to with internal and external reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversight over the accounting, analysis and reporting of various projects, initiatives and other workstreams as required, including cash flow statements, balance sheets and income.
*Engaging with senior stakeholders from across the business and taking an active role in the wider finance team to promote continuous improvement.
*Leading on improvements around internal processes.
*Full responsibility for owning the budget for central overheads.
*Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards across multijurisdictional entities.
*Lead and mentor the team to foster a collaborative spirit while offering development opportunities for the team to grow.
*The individual will be the primary contact for both internal and external audits.
*Managing timely and accurate reporting across multiple processes including monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes.
*Oversight of internal financial controls to ensure compliance regulations are met.
*Being the key individual for ensuring regulatory changes are adhered to.
*Leading special projects to drive financial performance and improve operational efficiency.
