1:1 Teaching Assistant | Full Time| Immediate Trial Days | South East London
Job Details:
*Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
*Start: January 2025
*Location: SE12, South East London
*Hours: 08:45 - 15:00
*Rate: £105-110 per day
Ideal 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
*Graduates who studied either Psychology, Criminology, Education Studies or Creative Arts are welcome to apply!
*Has experience working with children in a school setting
*Has personal interests in supporting children and young people with special needs
*A positive, proactive, and patient individual who has a can-do attitude and is willing to learn
*Establishing good relationships with children, acting as a role model
*Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all children, supporting difference and ensuring that all have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
*Supporting the child with their learning and development in areas such as literacy, numeracy, Key Stage and/or subject specific
1:1 Teaching Assistant’s Main Responsibilities:
*Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities, as well as monitoring and assessing children’s achievement and progress
*Actively involved in a wide range of activities, promoting the physical, cognitive, cultural, social, and emotional well-being of the pupils
*Actively interacting with children through play-based and sensory-related activities
*Aware of various types of SEND
