** Financial Controller Opportunity - Surrey ***
Grafton Banks Finance is partnering exclusively with a listed international business in Surrey in their search for an ambitious ACA Financial Controller offering a unique opportunity to help grow a business.
Working closely with the CFO, this role gives exposure to all aspects of finance - commercial and technical, debt and equity funding, new ERP roll out, international markets and commercial finance. It’s a pivotal role, boasting visibility with the shareholders, Board of Directors, and Advisors.
Since this role is key to succession planning for the CFO position, the business seeks a high calibre and ambitious ACA for this role.
The role
*Financial Controller, reporting to the CFO
*Oversight of the finance team to include financial reporting (listed business requirements) and internal controls, technical accounting, multi-currency consolidations, month end close, operational finance, audit, vat, corporation tax (with external consultants), cashflow, budgets and forecasting, and assist with implementation of new ERP system.
Qualifications & Experience required:
*Qualified Accountant (ACA essential) trained in practice, with 3+ years post qualified experience.
*Experience with multi-currency consolidations under IFRS.
*Technically strong, commercial, calm under pressure, ambitious.
*Track record of working in SME environment and interested to work in a fast-growing small business.
*Keen to be in the office (Surrey, good transport links) 1-2 days per week.
In return for your experience and skills, you’ll be rewarded with a salary of up to £90,000, plus 15% bonus and other benefits.
