Job Description:
My client, a renowned, large membership organisation, with beautiful offices based in central London, seek a bright and enthusiastic Events Assistant to work under the supervision of an Events manager for a 12 month fixed term contract. You will help support the planning and delivery of events across multiple digital platforms, that you will need to help build/develop, test, and implement as well as on site delivery for in-person events.
The main duties of this role will include;
To support with event preparation in the run-up to events including event set up on CRM and digital CMS; inviting speakers and following up where required; supporting abstract management; delegate queries; event material preparation; logistics emails and other ad hoc duties as required
Administration of post-event follow-up including attendee feedback surveys and thank you messages to speakers, sponsors and suppliers
Working with the events & marketing assistant for all enquires relating to webinars, hybrid and in-person events - by email, on the phone and in person.
Manage the CRM and digital CMS to ensure data records are accurate and up to date.
Assisting with on-site management of events - including greeting and registering delegates, dealing with queries, greeting, and assisting speakers and sponsors, liaising with venue and AV staff, and break-down of event.
Manage the conferences inbox and response to all enquiries within in a timely and professional manner
Source materials for marketing purposes ahead of events, such as speaker images and biographies
The right candidate for this role will have previous experience in an administrative position, preferably within the events industry.
The role is to start ASAP and is for a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a hybrid position, where the team is office based for 1-2 days per week.
Salary is 24K - 26K depending upon experience
