Suitable for Primary and Secondary trained Teachers with a willingness to learn.
A small, Independent School for children with Special Needs is looking for a Maths Teacher who is not only passionate about their subject but has the creativity to adapt their teaching to suit the needs of pupils with needs such as Autism, ADHD, and Pathological Demand Avoidance.
As the Maths Teacher in this school, you will be required not only to deliver high quality lessons, but also to ensure that students are provided opportunities to grow in confidence and resilience to meet the challenges they face outside of school.
The successful Maths Teacher will be a valuable part of the school community, and any talents will be considered as part of the application. You will be expected to support the students in all areas of their development and school life.
The school is for children in Years 7-11, however, the role is suitable for both Primary and Secondary trained Teachers who have the right personality for the role and are willing to learn.
Requirements of the Maths Teacher role:
*Maths Degree or similar
*QTS
*Hold an Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one
*Able to build relationships quickly
Summary of the Maths Teacher role:
*Monday-Friday
*35 hours a week
*Paid to pay scale
*Plan, deliver, and assess Maths lessons
*Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
