Working Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Salary: £33.00 per hour
Duration: Minimum 3 months, with a strong likelihood of extension
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Ward Pharmacist to join our team in Lewisham, South London. This is a full-time position with an ongoing contract, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the ward.
*Conduct medication reviews and ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
*Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
*Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication management and safety.
*Monitor patient outcomes and adjust medications as necessary.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
*Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
*Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
*Previous experience working as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting.
*Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
*Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
