Head of Digital role with a leading retail business based in Manchester.
They are looking for an exceptional Head of Digital to lead their customer acquisition, ecommerce and CRM strategy.
The business is a thriving ecommerce retail business based in Greater Manchester, renowned for delivering quality products and exceptional customer experiences. As they continue to expand, they are investing in their digital capabilities to improve CPA and ROAS.
The Role
As Head of Digital, you will oversee digital performance, with a focus on maximizing the ROI of paid media campaigns and enhancing customer engagement through a sophisticated CRM strategy. You will report directly to the board, providing insights and recommendations that shape the overarching business strategy.
You will lead a large, multidisciplinary team, including experts in PPC, paid social, programmatic advertising, email marketing, and CRM, to deliver a seamless and impactful digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
*Digital Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for paid channels (PPC, paid social, display, and affiliates) and CRM to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
*Team Leadership: Inspire, coach, and develop a large, high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
*Performance Management: Optimize budget allocation across paid channels, ensuring campaigns deliver maximum ROI.
*CRM Excellence: Oversee CRM strategies, including segmentation, personalisation, lifecycle campaigns, and automation to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
*Data-Driven Insights: Analyse and interpret performance metrics, delivering actionable insights to refine campaigns and inform decision-making.
*Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other senior leaders and the board to align digital activities with business objectives and present regular updates on performance and opportunities.

*Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive decision-making and performance optimization.
*Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including board members.
*Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
