Job Description:
Job Title: 2nd 3rd Line Technical Support Specialist
Location: Swindon Hybrid
Salary: DOE
Employment Type: Full Time/Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the M365 suite, including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Power Platform.
- Manage and maintain legacy HCL Domino Notes environments as needed.
- Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimisations to enhance stability and user experience.
- Participate in migrations, upgrades, and rollouts of SharePoint and other M365 products.
- Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and operational processes for future reference.
- Stay current with updates, best practices, and innovations in M365
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration
- Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and customisation
- Certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., M365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Teams Administrator, or Security Administrator) would be an asset but not mandatory
- Experience with ITIL processes or similar frameworks
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent team player
