Job Description:

Working for a fantastic team and company, just north of Cambridge city centre you will be a confident, capable, and self-motivated Project Coordinator. It is a great time to be joining, as this business is going through a period of growth and has lots of exciting new projects planned.
You will be supporting the Project Manager with a variety of tasks, where you will maintain a high standard of administrative support, and communication with clients and other project stakeholders.
In return you will receive: 25 days holiday plus the bank holidays, company staff pension and life assurance.
Hybrid working: During the training period you will be expected to be in the office 4 days per week. On completion of your training, you will be able to work from home 2 days per week, but this will depend on business demands and will need flexibility.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:
*Accepting client instructions and entering them onto a tracker, initiating the end-to-end survey and design delivery.
*Allocating jobs to surveyors and planners, tracking their progress and reporting back to the Project Manager and client.
*Updating the client portal, uploading packs and entering agreed dates along with finance figures.
*Raising requisitions for purchase orders and issuing work to contractors.
*Keeping the client updated with progress.
*Maintenance of project data and files.
The ideal candidate will have experience either within a similar role or have a strong administrative / sales support background, where they are confident working in a process driven environment and are able to use their initiative, when required.
A positive, proactive, and professional approach is a must.
Additional requirements include: -
*Previous experience working within a challenging and fast-moving administration / customer / project support role.
*Initiative and ability to absorb task requirements quickly and have confidence to
ask when unsure.
*Professional and confident on the telephone when dealing with clients, contractors, and members of the public.
*Ability to work under pressure with a can-do attitude.
*Commercial awareness and experience of working with project finances.
*Ability to prioritise work whilst achieving strict deadlines.
*Confident in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and other IT applications.
