Job Description:
Our client, a well-established chartered accountancy firm, is seeking a talented Bookkeeper for their Weybridge office, either full or part time, with hybrid working. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are keen to handle a diverse range of tasks for owner-managed businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct comprehensive bookkeeping tasks for a variety of clients.
*Prepare and submit VAT returns.
*Develop and manage financial reports including monthly management accounts (10% of the role).
*Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial transaction records.
*Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
*Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
*Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors.
*Offer financial support and advice to management.
About You:
*AAT/ACCA part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE).
*Minimum of 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping within a UK practice.
*A strong knowledge of Xero is essential ; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.
*Strong communication skills and adept at client interactions.
*Based locally to Weybridge,
