Job Description:

Prospero Teaching are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team, specialising in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
If you have a background in working in Mental Health whether this being child or adult, then we would love to hear from you! This can be experience that you might have gained from previous roles or any qualifcations.

Location: Bournemouth
Position: SEMH SEN TA
Hours: 09:00am - 15:30pm
Type of Work: Temporary/Long-term
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP85.10 per day
Start date: Jan 2025
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN, in particular SEMH (mental health)
Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
