Job Title: Human Resources Advisor
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) until June 2025
Salary: £37,227 per annum
Start Date: January 2024
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join a dynamic HR team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both strategic and operational HR initiatives while providing expert advice and guidance to managers and staff across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide professional HR advice on a range of matters, including employee relations, performance management, and policy application.
*Support managers in handling employee lifecycle processes, such as recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding.
*Lead and contribute to HR projects that align with organizational goals.
*Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices, offering solutions that mitigate risk.
*Collaborate with key stakeholders to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
*Monitor and analyze HR data to identify trends and provide insights that inform decision-making.
*Act as a point of contact for employee queries, resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications and Experience
*Proven experience in an HR Advisor or equivalent role.
*CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent qualification.
*In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
*Experience in advising and supporting managers on complex HR issues.
*Proficiency in using HR systems and data analysis tools.
Desired Attributes
*A proactive and solution-focused mindset.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
*Experience in the higher education or public sector is an advantage.
