Job Description:
As an Internal Auditor, you will be part of a small, dynamic team responsible for ensuring the financial compliance and governance of our organization. Your work will span across our care services nationwide and our Head Office departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct proactive internal finance audits of social care services and Head Office departments.
• Lead reactive fraud and financial abuse investigations.
• Contribute to policy reviews related to client and corporate finances.
• Deliver finance training sessions.
• Enhance systems for both corporate and client finances through continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement fraud awareness campaigns across the organization.

What We’re Looking For:
• Self-Motivation: High level of self-motivation with excellent organizational skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to form effective relationships across the organization.
• Numeracy and Communication: High level of numeracy, excellent written communication skills, and effective report writing.
• Training & Investigation: Capability to conduct training sessions for small groups and manage financial investigations sensitively and appropriately.
• Work Ethic: Strong work ethic with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Additional Information:
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9-5 with negotiable flexibility).
• Travel: Travel is required, including occasional overnight stays (expenses covered).
• Driving Licence: A full driving licence is preferred but not essential.
Training and ongoing support will be provided to help you thrive in this varied and strategic role.
