Job Description:
I am delighted to be paired with a global Law firm in their search for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Accounts Payable specialist to join a great firm.
Day duties of the role:
*Take full ownership of the accounts payable function.
*Support the team with recording firm expenses through Concur.
*Ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices.
*Record and reconcile credit card transactions and direct debits.
*Verify and process external professional fees and disbursements.
*Handle refunds and credits in compliance with SRA Accounts Rules.
*Maintain and reconcile petty cash.
*Upload payments into the banking system and submit them for approval.
*Check, format, and submit taxi/courier invoices to the US for uploading.
*Organize and upload digital invoices into the accounting software.
*Generate month-end reports for management and audit purposes.
The right candidate will have:
*Knowledge of VAT processes.
*Basic understanding of accounting principles.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Highly motivated and driven to provide excellent service to both internal and external clients.
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
*Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
*Meticulous attention to detail.
*Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
*Consistently maintain a customer-focused approach.
*Strong team player.
