Job Description:
Are you ready to make a real impact in a fun, rewarding environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Holiday Club Manager to lead our team at JC Academy, managing school holiday camps for children aged 4-12. This is an exciting opportunity to gain qualifications and experience, while shaping the future of children’s care in a safe and secure setting.
At JC Academy, we believe consistency is key, so we’re seeking someone who can be available during every school holiday - after all, nothing beats the familiar smile of a trusted face!
In this role you will be:
*Leading the day-to-day management of our before-and-after-school provision, as well as school holiday camps
*Overseeing and supporting a team of supervisors and activity leaders
*The main point of contact for parents and carers, ensuring clear and friendly communication
*Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, adhering to safeguarding policies and maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene
*Leading activities that engage and inspire children, making their time at JC Academy unforgettable!
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
*Experience working with children aged 4-12 in a childcare or educational setting.
*A warm, friendly personality, easy-to-talk-to nature that makes every child feel valued - we’re big on building strong connections.
*An understanding (or at least a good impression of understanding) of YouTube, TikTok trends. Dance skills not required, though bonus points if you can pull off a TikTok move or two!
*The ability to laugh at jokes you don’t quite get (but the children do!)
*A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
*First Aid certification (desirable, but not essential)
*A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children.
What’s in it for you?
*Earn up to £600 per week, depending on experience.
*Every day you’ll be making a lasting impact on children’s lives, helping them grow, learn, and have fun in a safe environment.
*Gain valuable experience and qualifications in childcare management, with opportunities to develop your leadership and organisational skills.
*Join a passionate team that’s dedicated to providing outstanding care, where your creativity and energy will truly shine.
Ready to apply?
Along with your CV, feel free to send us a covering letter telling us a bit about yourself, your favourite sport, and what makes you the ideal Holiday Club Manager, our children will love.
