Description
The successful candidate will likely ahve the following repsonsibilities:
*Manage all aspects of financial operations within the department.
*Prepare and present accurate financial reports and statements.
*Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities.
*Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
*Collaborate with other department leaders to optimise financial performance.
*Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
*Play a key role in financial planning and decision-making processes.
*Mentor and develop a team of finance professionals.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
*Professional accounting certification (e.g. ICAS, ACCA, CIMA).
*Exp in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
*Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
*Excellent leadership skills and the ability to mentor a team.
*Proficiency in financial software and systems.
Job Offer
This role offers a competitive salary between £55,000-£60,000 plus benefits.
