About the Role Our client prides themselves on providing exceptional furniture solutions to a diverse customer base, including education, healthcare, hospitality, and commercial sectors. We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our dynamic sales team.
This role is focused on identifying and securing new customers, building lasting relationships, and increasing our brand presence across the North of England. You’ll also assist with existing customer inquiries and support company sales when required.
Key Responsibilities: *Sales Growth: Generate leads, develop new business opportunities, and secure customer accounts.
*Customer Visits: Plan and conduct visits across the North of England to meet prospective and existing clients.
*Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers and partners, ensuring high levels of service.
*Administration: Prepare quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders using Sage 50 (training provided).
*Reporting: Maintain accurate records of activities and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Must-Haves: *Proven experience in sales and business development.
*Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
*A professional manner in phone conversations and written correspondence.
Ideal but Not Essential:
*Experience in the furniture industry.
*Familiarity with Sage 50.
