Job Description:
Assistant Planner
Sheffield
Permanent, Full Time
My client is looking for an Assistant Planner to join the team on a permanent basis, where you will get the opportunity to further develop your career in Planning. You will be joining a well-respected and highly regarded Tier 1 Contractor who will offer you continued training, excellent career progression and a team of highly skilled professionals.
As the Assistant Planner:
*Develop programmes and delivery strategies for both tenders and live projects
*Develop pre-construction and construction methods to enable the most efficient and effective delivery of the projects
*Develop the project plan, programme and reporting in accordance with the internal procedures
*Provide solutions for the delivering of the projects
*Report project progress at regular intervals
*Support various teams in the creation and maintenance of short-term programmes
*Assist in chairing weekly planning meetings on site
What are they looking for?
*1-2 year’s experience in Planning with a Regional / National contractor
*Confident and driven
*A driving licence
*Based in Sheffield and or surrounding area
