Job Description:
WANTED! Business Development Manager Bridging Finance - North West Region!
Our client is a rapidly growing and extremely well-funded property lender based in Liverpool. Formed by a team of highly experienced industry professionals in 2018, they aim to become a leader in short-term property lending, and want you to be part of their journey!
About the Business Development Manager Bridging Finance role
You will be working with a team that has grown the companies loan book year on year due to entrepreneurial thinking and strong relationships, and are looking for a go-getter to help them take their loan book to the next milestone!
Rather than being tied to a desk all day, as a field based Business Development Manager, you will have the freedom to get out of the office and meet with Intermediaries, brokers, and clients. You will be given a sales region within the North of England, and carte blanche to approach the market in your own personal style! We need you to be motivated to get out there, and extensive travel is part and parcel of this exciting opportunity.
You will report into the company directors and form a tight knit team, focused on Bridging finance, development finance, and a solutions based approach to pull deals together. You will be the face of our Client, so we are looking for a personality to help them stand out from the crowd!
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
· Originate and manage property finance deals through the pipeline, structuring complex cases so they fit within the credit policy.
· Plan and maintain a strategic diary of appointments to develop credible and trust-based relationships with your introducer base.
· Actively seek and grow new sources of business from inbound enquiry, requests for broker registration, existing contracts, industry journals and elsewhere.
· Maximise Bridging & Development sales from introducer base by building relationships, identifying competitive advantages, social media and the old fashioned phone calls!
· Achieve agreed quarterly & annual targets as set by the business
· Attend and present at exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and other opportunities as required
Account Management
· Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of products and service levels
· Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of competitors and competitive advantages.
Reporting
· Record all contacts and details of meetings on the company’s CRM system
· Reporting as required on progress.
General
· Any matters required to be done to assist in the achievement of the company’s budget and business development plans.
Minimum Experience
· Business Development experience within a Bridging Finance or Development Lending background is essential, although we are happy to consider applicants with an office based background.
· Ability to communicate on different levels, both verbally and in writing. Also confident presenting in front of small and large audiences.
Fantastic salary, commission and benefit package on offer.
Due to the high volume of applications DEFC Group receives, we will make every effort to respond with feedback although this is not always possible. If you have not been contacted within 7 days, then unfortunately you have not been successful on this occasion, but we may keep your details on file and contact you with future opportunities
If you feel you match the criteria above, please apply by replying with your updated CV.
