Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in line with the curriculum and departmental objectives.
Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through practical experiments and interactive learning.
Maintain a positive, disciplined classroom environment, fostering a culture of respect and enthusiasm for learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the department’s success and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Provide pastoral support to students, offering guidance and encouragement as they progress in their academic journey.
Requirements-
Qualified Science Teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
Specialism in any Science discipline (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) is welcome.
Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
Passionate about creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Dedicated to promoting student achievement and well-being.
A DBS on the update service or the willingness to purchase a new one.
